A Buckinghamshire drug dealer swallowed his cocaine in a bid to avoid being caught by police. Nathan Henry was stopped by police when he was driving a car on Tyson Road, Aylesbury , in the early hours of July 8 last year.

When police searched the 35-year-old, he swallowed 'multiple wraps' of cocaine. He was then taken to A&E where the wraps of drugs were recovered.

His Fowler Road home was later searched, with officers finding multiple vapes containing THC, while bags of cannabis were recovered. Henry had a total of £2,500 worth of drugs in his possession.

Henry has now been jailed for three years and nine months after appearing before Aylesbury Crown Court. He earlier pleaded guilty to being concerned in the supply of cocaine and cannabis at Milton Keynes Magistrates Court.

PC Ben McNeill, of Thames Valley Police , said: “Thames Valley Police is committed to bringing drug dealers to justice and making its patch a hostile environment for them. I hope Nathan Henry’s conviction provides a warning to other drug dealers in the Thames Valley of what to expect if they continue their offending.

“Information from the public around drug-dealing plays an important role in developing intelligence into a proactive investigation. If you have any such information, I would encourage you to report it to us by calling 101 or through the online reporting tool on our website."
